I've been wanting to start a blog for years, but could never figure out what to blog, why anyone would want to read my blog and how often I would actually bog. I finally decided I would blog about what I know, my interests, or "stuff" and maybe my immediate family would be interested in my blog and it's ok even if no one reads it - it will be like a journal. I also realized blogging on a regular schedule isn't' absolutely necessary. If I always blog once a week, some of my blogs may have nothing worthwhile if I don't really have anything I'm interested in writing about.
I have a variety of things I am interested in and am likely to blog about. The first is God, who is the center of my life. I am catholic through and through. I have absolute respect for everyone's beliefs and do my best to be respectful and non-judgmental. I do not know what has happened in your life to take you where you are and what you are doing in your life.
Some of my interests and hobbie include my faith, family, friends, our dog Poky, bible study, events in the world, crochet, embroidery, genealogy, photography and digital scrapbooking. I also like playing logic games and solitaire. I also love learning about many things. I find that I tend to focus on one or two of my hobbies for a while and then I'll see something that really interests me about something else. Then I will focus on it. I guess that makes me a little ADD combined with an obsessive tendency.
Please feel free to comment on any of my posts as long as it is respectful of others. I reserve the right to remove comments that are not respectful and/or use inappropriate language.
God Bless,
Sandy
P.S. My daughter and her in-laws have a practice of ending a post with things they are thankful for. I hope they don't mind if I use that idea. Since this is my first blog and I'm giving kind of an overview, I will note the things I am most thankful for.
I am thankful for God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and my faith. I am blessed to have been raised in a Christian family and continue to grow in my knowledge and love for them. I know I am never alone.
I am thankful for my husband, daughter, son-in-law and son They have always been there for me and bring me such joy . I love them so much.
I am thankful for my friends, extended family and brothers and sisters in Christ. I learn so much from all of you and get great joy and love through fellowship with you all.
I am thankful for Poky, our dachshund, the best animal cuddler I know.
